Since 2011, Care4Burn has received support from CBWCF to build and strengthen local expertise in burn care and reconstructive surgery at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi, Tanzania.

Burn injuries are a major problem in low- and middle-income countries. CBWCF operates in a part of the world where adequate burn care is scarcely available. The foundation has lifted many patients out of extreme suffering and distress.

What CBWCF is doing in Ethiopia in the field of burn and wound care is pioneering work. The work they carry out stands as a benchmark for other institutions in low- and middle-income countries.

For several years, we have followed the work that CBWCF is doing among the most vulnerable of the vulnerable. We are impressed by their dedication and results! Everyone who can contribute to support CBWCF should do so.

The unique surgical services provided by CBWCF have not only helped many seriously ill individuals, but also contributed to equipping healthcare professionals to deliver medical care of the highest standard.

I have had the opportunity to visit Dr. Eriksen and CBWCF in Ethiopia several times. They provide life-saving treatment of the highest quality and contribute to much-needed education of local healthcare personnel in burn care.

It is an honor to support CBWCF. The treatment provided yields results comparable to any modern burn unit. Patients are given new hope in a loving and caring environment!
